A TRUE STORY VIETNAM VETERAN · WRONGFUL CONVICTION · REDEMPTION
Abdul R. A. Hasan
A Big Red One veteran, wounded in Vietnam, wrongly convicted at home and the faith that carried him through both. The Innocent Felons is one man’s true account of service, injustice, and the long walk back to freedom.
“Do not be afraid. Because fear is the only way these people get away with it.”
A life that refused to be silenced
Drafted into the Army in 1965 and wounded serving with the Big Red One in Vietnam, Abdul came home to build a life of service only to be convicted in 1998 of a federal wire case he maintains he never committed. He served three years. He has spent the decades since speaking and writing for those the system looked past.
